My best friend Jesse and our new friend linkakami (an AWESOME Sherlock and a KILLER artist) at Fanime! We met tons of new people and talked to awesome artists, like vanthem (his webcomic is wonderful!) and hoursago and ootheca and reapersun. Can’t wait to be back in the AA next year!
Favorite Fanime cosplays part 2! Oh man. Seriously. The best. Getting choked out by Pyramid Head AND Predator? No words. No. Words. And I died when I met that Doctor and Idris. Best 10th Doctor I’ve ever seen.
Favorite Fanime cosplays part 1! There were so many awesome people there, and there were a lot of really creative costumes that I’ve never seen done before. Best convention by far.
The Spambots at FanimeCon 2012
My friends and I wore Servbot helmets at FanimeCon 2012. We made two prototype helmets the year before then retrofitted them and made six new ones. It was really fun walking around and getting our pictures and video taken. We were even offered to collaborate with the Pokemon Men. It was a great and fun experience. So Fanime was absolutely bonkers. I’m totally blown away. Thank you to everyone who visited my table; it was especially spectacular meeting so many Sherlock fans and getting a chance to share my weird obsessions. You are all amazing <3
